Not sure, need more info, like Vin# to confirm, etc etc..but look like it.

This is the ifno I have when Joe was brokering it, prior to that I think it came out of a Texas Sale at one point.

Ex-Edgar Kaiser 1988 Countach QV with One-Off Spec

This 1988 1/2 Countach QV # 12292 was built to one-off special order for the ex-Denver Broncos team owner and US Steel magnate heir Edgar Kaiser. Finished in "Blu Tahiti (#215854) with "Blu con giletti Bianchi" the car was fitted with a close-ratio gearbox # 1316 and a factory tuned engine number 1503. Completed early on December the 17th 1987, 12292 was collected at the Sant Agata factory by Edgar Kaiser himself, using Italian Touring (Escursionisti Esteri) plates EE.556.AK to drive the car out of the factory gates! After touring Europe at high speed, the car was flown back to Canada on a private aircraft and kept in Kaiser's car collection for the next decade. Kaiser's business colleague bought the car and in 2008 contacted Joe Sackey Classics about finding it a new home. The car comes with books, tools and remains in 100% original one-off livery as it left the factory. 21,429 km (13,315 miles) from new.

Roy, all we need now is a nice Saturday so we can park them side-by-side at E@RTC so folks can see the difference between the DD and the FI 5000QV's.

This Saturday isn't looking to promising either! :-(

Made it safe and sound..GOSH what a Beast, love it..so Happy..here are some quick I-Phone Photos...

I think I am going to have the extra set of OZ wheels I have painted Bianco Isis (White) I think it will look good on the car and match the interior.

Not going to put the wing back on..love the look with out it and the DD Hump...so SEXY!

white wheels would look great!!! Was the car ever DOT'd or was the DOT reversed? Worth alot more if it is in original euro livery. Great color combo...not the usual red, white, black...but since when is a Countach usual

Roy, I have to put my foot down and stop you right there.....:) No white wheels.
If it did not leave the factory with white wheel then leave it. Silver looks paramount with Tahiti.
Maybe if someone photoshopped a picture then we can see.

The car looks great, but I would not paint the wheels white, certainly not in "Bianco Isis".

    Why?

Because having spent so much time, money & effort to return the car to its original spec just as it left Sant Agata, changing its spec by installing white wheels does not add to its already not inconsiderable appeal.

Also, the few cars which had white wheels from the factory were pearlized in "Bianco Perlato" and not Bianco Isis (a non-Countach generation color).

A few all-white cars had wheels in white, and you can see how nonmetallic colors take away from the appeal of the dished Countach wheels with their porthole design, which always look best in silver or gold. This car was supplied with silver wheels FWIW.

Just my humble opinion, but sometimes when bringing a car back to production status, its a question of knowing when to stop, as much as anything. Save the extra expense of painting wheels white - would be my recommendation. As the saying goes: "If it ain't broke, don't fix it". Looks great just the way it is.

OK, you guy's win, after re-consideration, the wheels will remain as born..looks good as is.

NOW, what about the rear Emblems..it is OBVIOUS someone took them off and I SWEAR hand brush painted them a off-white color. I took them off today, the back side is the anodized Brass/Gold color..

So, make them White, SIlver, Black, the gold/brass anodized color..?

Anyone know what color the left as..?

I am leaning towards the Silver to just match the wheels..?

Beautiful car, but IMO a high speed car needs the wing.

Good decision with the wheels, only a few cars didn't have the normal silver or golden wheels.

Originally the Emblems were only black or white, on special request some cars had golden Emblems.
You can still order them from the factory in B or W.
