I am considering doing the same. So far I have found that Kriesseg makes a pair for around 2K. I would also like to hear from anyone who has done this on a 575/550. I would think performance would be slightly better and the sound would also improve a little. Not to mention the cost of replacing cats when they go. I haven't checked on the price of new cats for the 575 but they were prohibitive for my 348, and they only lasted about 15,000 miles.

I think cats last much longer on the 550/575. My originals certainly are still on and seem fine after 20,000 miles.

As for sound - there is a clip on YouTube of a 550 with Tubi and without cats. It sounds NOTHING like my own which also has a Tubi but still has the cats on. It really transforms the sound, and I think that would be a similar change with the standard exhaust system.
