    Out for a nice midwestern ride this evening and the speedometer just stopped registering. The odometer is out as well. Any thoughts on the cause? Fuse, relay,or wire broken, or sender of some type? I do not believe that the speedo itself failed out of the clear blue.

    Look for a switch under the dash:)

    Seriously, the sender in the trans as Mitch stated is more them likely your problem.

    Yes I bought another one. This time a yellow 99 GTS. It's like being hooked on a bad women and her sisters. Where do I find the sending unit?
