    The stories I can tell. One that comes to mind is Tampa, must have been around 1973/1974? Tampa had bad vibes due to what happened to Janis. But still, you get close to the stage and people where giving away LSD. Hard to imagine today. I still can see Bob Weir singing Sugar Magnolia.

    That the cool thing about memories. They are free, and you can play them anytime.

    Ah man, thinking about these tickets. Do I have it in me to go to one last live show? I dunno. I just don’t know.

    The memories are the whole point. The shows are fun to go to and this is the last hurrah to see Bob Weir, Mickey Hart, etc. I’m annoyed I’ll miss Wrigley and more so San Fran as they close out the tour, but track weekends are tough for me to attend in general and I only have limited options for those and I’ve got a dozen Dead and Co shows to see this summer anyhow.

    Got to see them last fall at Nissan/Jiffy Lube in Virginia. Excellent show. Mayer was respectful and Weir sounded EXACTLY the same.

    They definitely put on a great show. Separately I’ve seen Mayer more times than I can count and I’m still amazed with his playing. Combined they do justice to the music at every one of these live shows.
