    Hi Group,
    My Solenoid does not function in my '91 TR. I have it off and ready to replace, but my dealer says Ferrari does not sell the solenoid separately. So, $950 for a new started, not happening. If found a thread about Ace Electric that can supply a replacement Solenoid. My request is does anyone have the phone number or web site for Ace Electric? Google and dogplie do not render the address?

    Ace's assets and inventory were purchased by WAI of PA following their Chapter 11 filing.

    Their parts are available from about any shop that rebuilds starters, generators, alternators, and etc. A local shop ordered the solenoid for my 512TR from WAI and cost was about $30. It fit perfectly and works perfectly.

    Besides the website Steve listed above check out www.wai.wetherill.com and you'll be able to cross reference Ace's TR solenoid number 7-851 for WAI's number. My 512 solenoid 7-745 is a WAI 66-9146, which crosses to Bosch 0-331-303-033.
