    WOW! Anyone that files a BK after 10/17 is in for a real wakeup call! The laws are finally changing so the average BK will not wash Credit Card debt and other types of non-secured loans. It's about time. Since the credit crd companies really help to push these laws through to their advantage, I'm hopeful that some of the CC interest rate may come down i the next few years.

    Actually, this is one of the few times I don't like that deadbeats aren't getting off so easily. If you look at who the laws are targetting, it's NOT the lower-class or the upper class, it's the bread-and-butter middle class who is spending a bit beyond what they can afford (silly of them, yes) BUT are hugely responsible for the fiscal stability of this country.

    Now if they would apply the bankruptcy stringency to CORPORATIONS that might make things interesting. Let's make large corporations fiscally responsible instead of turning them into the cluster-fu**ed bureaucracy our government has become. Has Macy's finally increased their average number of years b/w bankruptcy past seven years??
