Find out where he lives and maybe an F-chatter is nearby to view the item before you pay.

Hope this works out, but that seller raises some red flags for me. No sales in the last six months, and suddenly he is offering five items at unbelievable deals. No reserve auctions for complete sets of tires & rims starting at $100. All previous items sold are beyond the viewable date, so we can't tell whether they are auto parts or Barbie dolls. Doesn't list the city where the items are located.

I would rather take $800 in cash to pick the thing up. You would still be protected by eBay's "guarantee", but at least you would have it in your hand before letting go of the money.

Used Tubis go cheap. I won't say what I paid for mine, but 1k isn't such a huge deal. It's a good deal, but nothing to write home about. Do the deal, the 360 sounds much better with it, and it's even better when you don't have to pay 4k for the sound.

I might have gotten lucky this time. I have a tracking number. Should be here on the 13th. I'll let you guys know if it really is a Tubi or a box of rocks ;)

    Thanks
