    I was wondering if anyone might know how the authorized F-car dealers learn about their car allocations. Do the dealers learn about what spots are given to them on a month to month basis? Or is it something that the factory maps out to each dealership at the beginning of the year? Does the factory tell the a dealer "okay, next month we'll give you a spot for 2 430's and 1 599"?

    Judging by some stories of how people either wait a couple of years in some instance as well as those who just happen to have conveniently walked into an open spot, I can't seem to pin it down.

    How does it work?

    I've been told that they do exactly what you described-- "This month, you get 2 430s and a 599."
