I guess the parts and labor from the dealer are carved from gold. I wonder does anyone have their Porsche repaired at the dealer after warranty has expired? Does anyone know a reputable Porsche mechanic in the Louisville area. After the bill I have from the dealer I think I better find another shop. Wow the cost are crazy on repairs at the dealer. I had never taken a vehicle to the dealer after the warranty ran out.

my dealer offers a 20% discount on service.
i use the dealer exclusively for service, as the vehicles rarely need more than an oil change or brake pads after the warranty period is over.

Unfortunately mine needed A front radiator a oil sending unit a oil change new plugs and two new front tires. 4500.00 total usd and I think that's way up there on price. I will invest in a lift and I could have done all that myself. No discounts at all

Many dealers give a discount for PCA membership.

    Some also for AAA membership.

But... dealers have huge overhead, and many pay the overhead for the entire dealership with the service department.

I've heard good things about Stein Automotive from a friend who lives in Louisville. No personal experiences with them though.

What do P car dealers typically charge these days without the PCA discount. I would not use a dealer for my air cooled Pcars so just wondering. I have a great mark specialist who charges $85 / hr which actually is less than most independent Asian car specialists.

I know it varies by region, but what is the hourly rate P car dealers typically charge these days without the PCA discount.? I would not use dealer for my air cooled Pcars so just wondering. I have a great mark specialist outside of Atlanta who charges $85 / hr which actually is less than most independent Asian car specialists.

$85 hr is really cheap. My indy charges $110 hr and I think the dealer is around $180 hr.
