EGAD! Where have you been? Where are you from? Must be pretty far if you have never heard of the Tail of the Dragon. The drive is loads of fun and best done with a group as long as you don't include to many crazies. The warmer the weather gets you will have to start to watch out for superbikes. I have only done it a couple of times but what a ride each and every one. My first one was in the snow.

If you guys are going make sure to schedule it during the week. The weekends are dangerous. The road is full of cars and motorcycles that are often poorly driven. In addition it is covered with police. Please keep us updated, I'd love to go during the week. Ken
I wish, dearly wish that I could say the same about not seeing any cops. I've had some expensive days on that road. ken
Hey guys I live about 25 mins away from there and would love to come out when you come thru. The only police I have seen have been down by the lake behind a sign on the TN side.
