Tifosi1: About 17 cars, not all Ferrari's were there this past weekend. The road is also known as the Tail of the Dragon. Check out the thread on FChat for North and South Carolina. There are some great pictures and stories for everyone's reading pleasure and amusement. It sure is great to have a road like this in your backyard. If you get a group to come up let us know. Everyone that went this weekend is already talking about going back soon.

Oops, you can see that I am a rookie. I did not know your thread already linked you to the Carolina section. Anyway, come when you can. The next couple of weeks will be gorgeous with everything in bloom.

My wife's family is from Brevard, NC. We go up there a couple of times a year.

I've been driving the Gap before anyone knew as the Tail of the Dragon. My first time I belive was in 1981.

There are great roads in and around Brevard as well, but you know that already. Do you bring your F-car on your trips to NC or does it have to stay home languishing for the fun the two of you could be having? Let me know if you want someone to drive along, we might be able to find some other locals that could join us.
