Sonny King passed away on Friday. http://www.reviewjournal.com/lvrj_home/2006/Feb-04-Sat-2006/news/4488598.html Our club had a vague connection to King, because the Bootlegger Bistro, where he last performed, is the site of our monthly lunches. Also, his show was one of our stops at Gary's bachelor party last June. I first saw King in the lounge at the Sands in 1966. He was a classic Las Vegas entertainer.
