Anyone interested in taking the Introduction to Racing (open wheel racers)?
The date we have on hold is Friday 12/11/09. It will at Sebring running on the Modified Course.

    If interested....please email: [email protected]

Tell him you saw this event on FerrariChat.com
He will keep us all together.

The date is ONLY on hold until someone else asks Sebring for the same date. So, as soon as everyone can confirm we need to get this going and paid to secure this date. Even if we can start getting some confirmations in we can start to secure the date. We would need at least 15 – 25 commitments to get this started.

This will be for the introduction to racing in the open wheel formula cars. Everyone will need to be able to drive standard transmission, which I am sure all can. We go 6’4” and 240lbs for the max limit in these cars.

    Cost is $599.00 less a group discount of 15% = $509.15/seat.

We also have a $50.00 insurance option that will limit any crash damage to a maximum of $1,000.00 responsibility per incident. Without it you would be 100% liable. (Attachment for review)

Cost with the option = $559.15/seat. (if you post this on any websites please do not publish this price. Use the $599.00 retail cost and can make a mention of a group discount – any issues on this call me).

We will provide everything you need (suits and helmets – No shoes or gloves though). If anyone has their own helmet and is a SNELL SA 2005 rated or better, they are welcome to bring it along. HANS devices need to be 30 degree for open wheel cars (not provided). You are also welcome to bring your suits, etc.

We run rain or shine and water will be provided to keep you hydrated throughout the program. No meals provided.

Programs will run 3 hours. One hour classroom, ½ hour car introduction, suits, helmets and safety talk, then you will have an hour track time. Three (3) twenty (20) minute sessions doing a lead follow.

Sessions will be laid out as such (times may vary depending on participant count if over 48, i.e. may start ½ hour earlier in each session):

    Intro “A” 8:00am – 11:00am

    Intro “B” 9:30am – 12:30pm

    Intro “C” 11:00am – 2:00pm

    Intro “D” 12:30pm – 3:30pm

Each session will have a 12 driver capacity.

    Cancellation and payment policy:

    · If you cancel twenty one (21) days or more before the first day of the program you will be charged a 25% fee.

    · If you reschedule twenty one (21) days or more before the first day of the program you will be charged a 5% fee.
