I liked my Panasonic KX-TG6700 just fine until recently when it refused to charge or keep a charge on its battery. New battery didn't make a bit of a difference & a quick google shows it to be a typical problem.

Anyone know of a decent 2 line phone that is rugged, reliable, and holds a good long battery charge?

We've been using a Uniden PowerMax 5.8 GHz 2-line system in our home office for
over a year and it's pretty flawless - 4 remote stations plus the base... just works
great. Was only like $85 for the base and 2 remotes, and the additional remote
    stations were around $30 each.

I was totally skeptical about buying anything from Uniden but bought a set of 4 handsets and chargers, I don't remember how much, but cheap, and they have been working for at least 3 years and have always worked better then the much more expensive Panasonics that they replaced.
