Nice to see you back, I took inspiration from this thread when completing my own restoration. You will love the Tubi Evolution exhaust.

tidy looking car! Many thanks for the pictures!

What are the reason(s) that you chose a Tubi and not a Capristo?

    Hi, thanks!

I have always fitted Tubi systems to my cars, really like the quality, fit and off course the sound......plus i had bought this system at a good price ages ago, it was sitting in my store waiting for the right car to come along.

    Hi
As you know I have fitted Fabspeed manifolds, connected to Larini de-cat pipes, connected to a Tubi Evo exhaust box. Which all sounds incredible!!

The de-cat pipes still had the pre & post o2 sensors, along with the original thermocouples and OEM CAT Ecu's.

So I decided to install Gothspeed CAT ECU replacements and completely remove the thermocouples, replacing them with the Gothspeed End Caps....problem solved.

    The cap nut: https://www.ricambiamerica.com/gs179-cap-thermocouple-bung-cap.html
    and the ECU: https://www.ricambiamerica.com/gs179278-catalyst-temp-ecu-simulator.html
All designed and manufactured by Fchat's very own, Gothspeed, in California, available through Ricambi.

I also have the OEM exhaust valve connected to the Tubi - which I am keeping the same.

Just to go a bit further I fitted Fabspeed's 90 degree offset tubes for the post o2 sensors. This will keep them out of the exhaust gas stream.
Universal O2 Spacers with Catalytic Converters - Fabspeed Motorsport

Flashing lights and errors are often caused by malfunctioning CATs or Thermocouples, since I dont have any CATs, using Goth's ECU replacement sends a signal to simulate that the CATs are operating in the correct temperature range.

The post o2 sensor tests the exhaust gas, part of the process to check that the CAT is operating correctly and cleaning the exhaust gases. To avoid error codes, the post o2 sensor needs to detect fairly clean gas. To help this process, getting the post o2 sensor further away from the exhaust gas stream by using the Fabspeed 90 degree o2 Spacers with Catalytic Converters pipe.

Plus they are soooooo beautifully made and look fantastic!

    here is everything you need....

Hi, took the 355 out for a blast at the weekend, but before we went, i thought i would do a long overdue job - fit the fire extinguisher. Thought it would be a pain of a job, finding a suitable place, drilling holes to mount the brackets etc....
Turned out to be dead easy, i didn't even use the brackets, instead used the seat adjustment bar on the passenger seat, the seat stays in one position anyway.
Just put a sleeve of rubber tubing along the seat adjustment bar, slipped the metal straps around the bar and locked in place. absolutely rock solid and very tight, so no fear of it coming loose Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login .
