Hello all, I’m looking to replace the defrost vents on my car. I know the factory parts are plastic. Any thoughts on the aluminum route? I don’t see anyone selling them right know but found some old ebay posts that have closed. Thanks for your feedback

I bought mine from Rizzo about a year ago. They are perfect. Don’t waste your time replacing yours with the crap Ferrari parts, get new ones from Rizzo.

You do know that the dash must be removed to install the aluminum vents.

I bought mine from Rizzo several months before I needed them also. When I bought my car the leather was pulling and the plastic vents had popped loose, so I knew I’d be needing them.

My car is in perfect condition, but I find I'm buying parts for ingenious fixes just in case they disappear in the future. For example, the first thing I did when I bought my F430 was to buy a tail light repair kit even though mine are not cracked. I have a couple of boxes of these kinds of things. If I never need them, then great, but when I do and they can't be found then I am happy I invested. I just recently bought a replacement manettino decal just incase even though mine if not sticky. Worst case they will go with the car when I sell in the future.

Glad I’m not the only one that’s psycho like that lol. My wife thinks I’m OCD. Maybe?

Rizzo's vents are fantastic, buy them! I had a small amount of dash pull at the vents where the plastic ones broke, luckily for me, they hadn't been broke for too long and the dealer was able to install with the original leather and it looks like the day it left the factory! Super happy with them
I would post a pic, but I'm on the other side of the country from my car...
