Nice car. Looks a little out of place next to the C4. Hard to believe they are from the same era.

Nice garage, looks like you have plenty of room.

Congrats Robbie - welcome to the TR crowd. I absolutely love the black! Awesome!

You *might* consider asking Richard to install Brembo F-40 brakes and upgraede to HRE 3-piece wheels. It would provide improved braking and update the look.

I can't post pics here of my wheels/brakes but I will do so if you post in another Life.

Congrats..Would love to see that in the Mason Dixon Rally. You get prorata credit for mileage so you only have to do maybe 300 miles between now and then to qualify!! Please!! Jon in Delaware

Thanks guys. Robbie, I will be out of town for then unfortunately. Hopefully, I'll get to some of the upcoming FChat events. The car is immaculate and a full major service done last month by the previous owner so I'm good to go.

My favorite Ferrari! Some day... some day...

After you drive it a bit, please post some comparisons to the 348.

    Congrats,

    Dave

The 512 has fantastic lines. It is a combination of square, swooping, rectangle, curved, low, carved - all in one terrific looking Ferrari! The seats are very comfortable with large headrests, and the interior is exotic. It's one of my top favorite cars. Congrats!

Congrats on the new Ferrari! You have a soft spot for black Ferraris I see. Drive it often and enjoy. It is a beautiful car.

Just took it out for a 'three hour tour' and really enjoyed it. It is a more graceful drive than the 348 for sure. The 348 didn't garnish as much drive by interest as I thought it would when I owned it. I presumed most people just didn't know what it was. Tonight however was a different story. I assume it has that iconic look or something. Much more recognition during the drive tonight. Yes Barry, I love black cars. Nathan, I look forward to dueling 512's somewhere. Good to hear from you all. I do have a little bit of a dilemma though, I got the 512 extremley cheap, especially since I have a month old receipt for a $12 grand major service. I was thinking about flipping it in the fall. But until then.... ; )

After a few months and 3000 miles, I must say am either getting old or have always been a GT guy at heart and didn't know it. I really love the GT driving the 512 provides. The 348 was a bit more responsive, etc as it should be. The power band pulls for a long time with the 512 and sounds unbelievable. It has begun to fit me, or maybe the other way around. One thing Ferrari ownership has taught me is that higher rpm's can be okay and cruising around properly in a V12 Ferrari is such a unique experience. I loved my 348; it's design has a different purpose. I bought the 512 for a fun summer drive but it now I feel a bit connected to the 410's and 250's of years past. Different of course, but very cool. So they feel like completely different cars. The 512 is an unexpected, fantastic grand touring experience. Hope that helps...
