Do we know when the demo cars will be appearing at the dealers in the US?

Not sure when dealers will get a show car, but I know they have taken them to Challenge races in the US. I hope they take one to Indy in September as I will be there and want to see the real car as opposed to just pictures.

I was at my dealer yesterday and they weren't sure when they would see one. They are hosting their Esperienza this weekend and I was hoping for a long shot that they might have one there but no bueno. Would be awesome if they have one at Indy as that is where I'm based and want to see it in person before I move forward with my allocation.

I am in the same situation. Have a deposit in, but want to see a car before proceeding with an order. If I don’t like it, I have “maintenance money” for my F12.

I got my invite to preview the car the first full week of August from Ferrari of Seattle. I believe it's just the static display car, not something we can actually go drive. I'm not sold on the car, haven't placed a deposit. I love my 812, closing in on 30k miles

The best detail on the car is they made the oil reservoir cap easily accessible. Since every 1000km you're going to be opening it up to fill it :p

Looks like no dipstick so there must be an electronic oil meter. Im good with that who wants to check a hot dipstick with the engine on anyway

    They haven’t had a dipstick for a while IIRC…

I believe the 812 has a dipstick because there are threads complaining about them consuming oil and having to check the stick and adding oil so often.

812 has a dipstick definitely with a totally weird procedure to measure the oil level correctly

To be fair, the F12 being the host vehicle has the same procedures. The 812 threads say that in order to up the power in the engine it was necessary to reduce friction by lowering the tension on the piston rings which leads to excess oil consumption.
