Quite a few cars out and about over the weekend. Saw a couple Vipers (RT/10 and SRT-10), Maserati Quattroportte, couple Bentley Continentals, and a BMW Z8.
There will be a 70 or so exotics (Ferraris, etc.) at the Four Seasons Hotel in Denver on this coming Tuesday leaving Wednesday morning for Utah. It's the start line of the Goldrush Rally. We're shipping them in from all over.
saw a yellow testarossa yesterday on 92nd and wadsworth. i was sitting at a light on it flew right by me. too bad i couldnt get a picture.
Red 575 Super America here. First time I have seen it this year. Driven by the same woman with black hair. I have never seen her speed. Beautiful car. Life is good.
I couldn't believe my eyes this morning! I swear that I saw a 250 GT California turning east onto Hampden Avenue from NB University Saturday morning around 6:45am!
I believe it. Especially since I know of other cars that live in that area, could be an addition to the collection. Must be rough.
Red Lamborghini Countach headed eastbound on I-70 between west 6th Avenue and C-470 around 2:45 this afternoon.
Wednesday NB I 25 at Dry Creek at 4:45pm a white California (I think) Ferrari caught me by surprise. I think it had dealer plates. Pretty cool looking. Never seen a white Ferrari before!
yestersay (wednesday) i was driving and saw a modena on westminster blvd and 95th. i turned around to get a picture of it, he barely made the light then it turned red on me. i was really dissapointed. but what can u do? hahaha
Met a guy last night with what looked, at first glance, like a white 308 GTS. 7-Eleven on Alameda near Broadway. Closer inspection revealed that it was a replica: Visible circular gas door, vertical lights on either side of the license plate, wrong front bumper, vents behind headlights too long and too wide. Talked to the owner and heard more b.s. than I've heard from any one person for a long time. Showed me a black spray painted American Express card and told me that membership in the "Black Club" entitled him to drive any exotic car he wants at any time (but what he really wants is the American Express Crystal card, which is even more exclusive); he could "buy a building if he wanted to," with the black card. He thought about a 308, but the maintenance costs are too high (?!); and in any case, the Fiero's faster and handles better. And it's not a kit car, it's a Mera, which is (according to him) rarer and more valuable than any Ferrari; there were only 150 Meras ever made; his is #1 off the assembly line; the body panels are a combination of fiberglass and carbon fiber; every car using carbon fiber was modeled after the Mera; the suspension was done by Lotus; it's not a Fiero. He'd like to remove the Ferrari emblems that the previous owner installed, but the Mera emblems cost $3000 each. . . Fellow in a Porsche pulled in and asked if it was a Testarossa. I left them to exchange ignorance and cr@p with each other.
Spotted the infamous Black Veyron on West Colfax Sunday afternoon near Colorado Mills...I love the car for what it represents but it's not as dramatic to see in the flesh as I thought it would be.
Ha! Ha! Yes I was totally caught off guard seeing it near the mall. BTW, if you didn't know, the Spyker is now @ FoD
The Spyker looked good at the Motorsports Day show last week! I am guessing Justin traded you guys for a Grey Ferrari 430. Someone told me it had hundreds of people swarming it at the weekly Sunday night meet a few days ago.
Yeah, that's it. The proportions are wrong, but not as bad overall as a lot of replica/kit cars. But the devil's in the details, you know. And underneath, it's still just a Fiero.
Here are my pics of the same Spyker that FoD is selling: http://www.ronnierenaldiphotography.com/Automotive/Spyker-C8-Laviolette/17792761_BVSQd7#1359464867_qK6tV25
