    there is a dealer called AutoSports by The Lake that has a Lotus S4s for sale that needs "some work" according to them.

    anybody here have anything to say about these folks, or does anyone know the car?

    car was / is maintained by PAF AUTO in Charlotte, i will be calling them on monday with the vin to see what the cars needs.

    i am going to post a thread in the "cars" section to see what opinions there are here of the Lotus S4s.

    Someone on here owns one and may be able to offer some advice. I've had my eye on Esprits for a while now and I think between the 93 1/2 SE and the last of the S4s are the best of the model. They weigh in around 2400 lbs and make 264 hp. Changing the chip out can easily net above 300 hp. I guess it all boils down to what "needing work" entails. You can get an S4 in pretty good shape for sub 30 grand. There was a 93 1/2 on ebay with just a crack in the bottom of the front bumper for 21,500 or so not long ago. It really depends on the price.
