Good observation Brett. I think FA's got the best shot, if the Ferrari's up to it, of keeping Schumi in check. The thing I worry about is the fact that the Mercedes is very fast right now. Mercedes has Ross, Mercedes has Schumi and that kind of stock defines "blue chip." Once Michael gets his groove back, and it won't take but a couple races, he'll make a serious claim to this years WDC. I'm a dyed in the wool Ferrari fan, always have been, always will be and the fact the Michael's back makes this a very fun season to look forward to.
I could give two hoots for Massa, but in fairness, head injuries can take a LONG time to heal. Case in point: Sir Stirling Moss. He took a heavy blow to the head, tried to come back after months of recuperation, and threw in the towel because he recognised that he was not up to the task. Only years later did he realise that it took some two years, if I recall correctly, to fully recover from his very serious concussion. Massa may well be still suffering the ill effects of his accident. Given time, he may regain his earlier form. Unfortunately for him, F1 is not a venue that has time for protracted recoveries.
In the one shot I saw of him in the pits he struck me as rather calmer and more mature than previously. I was wondering if he wasn't benefiting from Papa's absence.
