I am looking for the workshop manual of the 456GT (on CD or DVD). I cannot find any on e-bay, and the only source I could find was a seller called www.ferraripubs.com/index, which seems to be an old "stump" of a rather undeveloped website. Does anyone know if I can trust this website and if it is safe to send them the $99 they ask for the manual?

Or alternatively, can anyone point to a reliable source of Ferrari workshop manuals?

    Thanks
    Andrea

i tried to save the link in the Ferrari tab , but it wont let me. go to manuals, Ferrari as the manufacturer and then scroll thru the list.

they have the 2 volume shop 456 manual and the parts manual.

i like reading the tech manuals and have spent a ton of money on manuals for cars i will never have.

    i hope this helps.

it may take 2-3 weeks to get them, but they are well worth it.

you can often find them on cd from ebay for a few bucks... as a set of PDF files.
worth a look, just dont buy the wrong one's, ensure its actually the workshop manuals and not the owners handbook :)

    Thanks for the replies.

What ideally I'm looking for are the manuals on CD, in PDF format. The paper manuals are way more expensive in comparison.

About ebay, last year I did get the workshop manual CDs for the 550 Maranello from an ebay seller, but he seems to have disappeared now.

I've been looking everywhere on ebay and I can't find the 456GT manuals at all.

If anyone has the CDs for sale please let me know.

    Thanks
    Andrea

    Hi Kurt,
rather late I realize, though do you still have the repair manual for sale? Does it include electrical scheme, and (dis)mounting of trim panels etc?
    Appreciate your response, thanks!

It might also be worth asking your local main dealer (or UK Classic Parts) if he can still order a copy - wow 600 Euros !

Just checking I see Classic Parts & in fact Ricambi appear to list it

Just my opinion but I think it is worth buying the factory workshop manuals if you can find them reasonably priced. Clear and easy to use. Especially critical when referencing the electrical schematics.

I have the $29.95 CD manual - while good value, it isn't complete - no wiring drawings or much at all on the electrical system, no troubleshooting guide and most important, no OBD decode. But, better than nothing. Good quality pdf's, they print out well.

So if anyone has access to a complete manual on CD, I'm interested to buy or share costs.

Andrea, this Aussy site has many manuals for the 456. Many if not all are
owners manuals but since many are over 200 pages so you will find them
    of interest: http://www.ferraridatabase.com/The_Downloads/Downloads.htm

Most are password protected, restricting image printing but if you find one
of interest let me know and I'll supply the unlocked version.
