DETAIL QUESTION???

Well what do you mean to use on the grill? Are you talking like some type of dressing? A simple cleaner?

Most of the time grills, especially on Ferraris, aren't dressed with any type of product. In order to retain their stock finish, you want them free from any type of oily residue. As for cleaners, any standard quick detail spray should be adequate. Just clean it like you would clean everything else on the car, and if you need anything above and beyond that, hit it with a detail spray. If something more is needed, you could possibly spray a gentle yet effective cleaner like P21S Total Auto Wash on a MF towel and clean it from there.

If I somehow missed exactly what you were asking for, clarify and I will definitely take another shot for you.

 

My grill was very faded and needed some polishing so I jumped to it with some abrasive polish with pretty good results. The problem was it left wax inside the holes, and once it dried, it was a nightmare. It took me two hours to clean out those holes. I tried a pressure washer, rough towel, you name it. I finally couldn't stand the look anymore and removed the grill and had it powder coated two notches (gloss wise) above the stock. You see these cars have seen a lot of heat, sun and wear so I figure it will settle in where it should have been all along. I'll find my post for you and put it here.
