Would anyone be able to give me a step by step checklist on how to change out cats for straight pipes on a 95 355 (or point me to the appropriate thread/ resource) . I am going to look into having someone local do the job if it is not too involved. Options for service are a bit limited and the nearest guy doesn't do exhaust work.
    Thanks in advance,
    Chris

    Hello:

When I bought my 95 F355 Spider the dealer sold it with hollow cats (Still trying to ge reimbursed for my replacement cats). My mechanic said the previous owner or dealer removed the inner element from the factory cats so that the were basically test pipes. The car is less loud but I did notice that the engine bay was significantly hotter and the I did not feel some restriction after replacing the cats.

Try calling the EPA or your state's emission enforcement department. They should be able to help you out!
