    I did a search on the board and only came up with Northern NJ/NY shops. I have a ton of scratches on the Range Rover from the my beach driving on Nantucket and need a pro with a buffer. Any reccomendations? Anyone ever use High Marques in Morristown?

    I have not used High Marques, but I've seen their work, and they do a good job. But they or The Stable in Gladstone are going to be more expensive than a good detailing shop. If you have a real auto parts store in your area (not Pep Boys or AutoZone), ask who they would recommend.

    High Marques quoted me about $175-$225 over the phone to buff out the scratches and wax the entire car. Does that sound about right?

    Jim....what about taking it to Paul Miller...I think they have a summer special.

    Paul Miller does have the summer special but I noticed a lot of their darker cars having some heavy swirl marks. The last time I was at High Marques they were detailing a F40 so I feel pretty comfortable leaving a Range Rover with them...... I'll let you know how I make out.

    Jim,

    High Marques is fine, but these guys were the original occupants of that space at High Marques before Robert and John took over the entire building.

    They do a stellar job and are highly recommended in the Porsche community.

    I'll take a ride by their shop tomorrow since it's only about 10 minutes from me. I wasn't familiar with those guys. I'll let you know how I make out.

    i know an excellent, wait incredible detailler in the caldwell area.

    if anyone knows dave zeckhausen of bmw fame....hes a close personal friend.

    this guy is absoloutely insane when it comes to cleaning cars.
