    I thought I saw this post discussed before, but could someone show me the thread that talked about what product they used to detail the black top and rear spoiler on a 328 GTS? Tried to search a couple of times but could't find it.

    I use the Meguiar's endurance tire gel (purple gel). I started using it on my tires and then ended up using it on all exterior vinyl and black plastic trim.. It works great and stays on for a lot longer than any other product I've ever used.

    I'm not sure if the top on the 308 is the same material, but I use Meguiar's "Back to Black." My top was grey before this, now it looks brand new. With weekly washing I've only had to reapply once every 3 or 4 weeks.

    Without a doubt, Griot's Vinyl and Rubber. If your top and spoiler are really faded / oxidized, it will take several treatments, looking uneven, but eventually it will get back to the original color.

    I use WD40......Wet it on wait 10 min. Buff...

    Dont let the secret out as it will put all detailers out of biz.

    #2 Diesel Fuel ... a tip from a dealer, but I never got the nerve to try it.

    My personal choice (Meguire's Back to Black).
