    Hey all,

I recently bought a Porsche 911SC finished in Alpine White. The paint is shiny but I can feel some grittiness when I run my hand over the finish so I'm planning on a nice full detailing job starting with clay then some Meguiars surface polish and finally a top coat of good Mother's carnauba. I'm wondering though if there is a certain procedure or secret to getting the most out of white paint when you detail it, as I've never owned a white car before. Anyone here with suggestions, please feel free to chime in!

    Cheers,
    Aaron

White looks best when all the black trim and tires are dressed. That will make the white stand out more.
