Hey all, I recently bought a Porsche 911SC finished in Alpine White. The paint is shiny but I can feel some grittiness when I run my hand over the finish so I'm planning on a nice full detailing job starting with clay then some Meguiars surface polish and finally a top coat of good Mother's carnauba. I'm wondering though if there is a certain procedure or secret to getting the most out of white paint when you detail it, as I've never owned a white car before. White looks best when all the black trim and tires are dressed. That will make the white stand out more.
