Perhaps you can explain how your services differ from the detailing services that many of us are familiar with.

Hey Mario - why not offer some free professional car detailing advice to us via this thread site. Not everyone lives in Melbourne and some like to detail the cars for themselves (not good for your business though).

    Hi Mark ,

I do come to Adelaide but it would have be worth it ( Large jobs on several cars )detailing, polishing ( Paint Rejuvenation) leather cleaned and conditioned.
Finally a good paint protection, Zymol, P21 S Concourse or Zaino ,and other products to
    many to mention .

I would probably stay a whole week to do those jobs !

I would need a deposit for Guarantee ! I just wouldn't travel all the way up there for nothing !

Are you interested ? When would you like your cars done ?

You could send me an email to make further arrangements.

    Regards , Mario

Apparently there are some pretty awesome paint protection products that work as good or better than a bra, but I can't remember the details though.

    Hi Stephens,

the difference between my detailing services and my opposition are the following.

    1) They detail a car in three hours max, they are after quantity.

    2) I do quality work i take a whole day to detail or Polish a car.Sometimes more depending on the condition of the vehicle.

    3) They cut corners !

    4) I don't cut corners i either do it right or i'd rather loose that job !

    5) They use old technology

    6) I keep myself up to date with the latest technologies in detailing and paint correction systems.

    7) I do advanced paint correction ( which consists of wet sanding the scratch out) and buffing out the sand marks to achieve that high gloss finish again without swirl marks regardless what colour it is .

Of course this depends entirely on the condition of the paint .

8)I study paint systems on how to get the best possible results without
compromising to much paint removal ( Clear Coat).

Car manufacturers allow us to remove 2 micron of clear at a time otherwise
you end up getting paint stress.
That means you remove to much clear .

    9) All the products that i use are of the highest quality some are not available
    at your local store.

    10) I am in constant contact with a colleage in the States, and we share
    new ideas and technogies together.

That's what makes me different to the detailer you are used to .

I hope that has answered your question ?

    Regards , Mario

    different process AFAIK

whereas meguiars is (basically) a 3 step system of cut, polish and wax, with the cut/polish relying on abrasive action to restore the paint...

....Zaino isnt 'abrasive' as such, and is simply a series of products that are 'layered' onto the car, rather than 'buffed on/off'

I have seen brilliant results from Zaino, and the finish seems to hang in well.

however the downside is its a several-coat process and you need to wait 45 mins IIRC between coats....

I agree with Vegas1 meguiars has several steps some so called polishes still contain small amounts of abrasives, that's how you restore the gloss on your car.

If you can afford it Zymol has no abrasives at all , they are expensive but as the say you get what you pay for .

You can find Zymol at specialized Autobarn Stores, Chadstone is one of them.

There is also a new product on the market which has not been released to

Autobarn Stores yet. It's called Optimum Spray Wax, it has the durability of a

paste wax, i have been doing some field testing with this product and all i can say is that you get a fantastic gloss with no swirl marks !

Just spray and wipe off with a microfiber cloth. You really get an awesome shine in very little time !

If you would like more info on Zaino and Optimum , don't hesitate to contact me.

No, I am talking about a product that is applied to the paint that acts asa protective shield. Like the stuff Elvis invented in the boatracing movie he was in! Painted it onto a guitar, after it hardened, hit it with a hammer with no damage. Yes I rrealise it was just a movie but the stuff I'm thinking of works kinda the same way.
