    i have some kind of stain or something on the bonnet of my car-can anyone recommend a good place in the city to have the car cleaned, and the stain buffed out?

    As an alternative to that one if you wan't to cross over the other side of Manhattan you could go to Detailer's Doman in Norwood NJ and have Phil do your car for you. He does amazing work and he also runs an awesome online detailing supply store to get any products you could ever want. I've had him detail my RS4 and he did an excellent job with it. It was done before he moved into the current space/shop that hes in now and he did it in his driveway. Now though he has an even better location with every kind of lighting he could need and a massive supply of any product needed as well. http://www.detailersdomain.com/

    Here is work on my RS4 that he did back in 2007 right after I got it used with about 8,800 miles on it as an Audi corporate owned car. Its amazing how shiny and wet and deep he was able to make the solid non metallic/pearl paint look. He simply does amazing work and hes doing it even better these days with his shop. If you decide to go there mention that I suggested it and say it was from the guy with the Imola Yellow RS4 and he should be able to know who you meant. The car looked absolutely amazing but then the next day after driving up to Greenwich CT for a car meet (not the concours) it rained while we were there and while the car still looked amazing from the detail once the dirt/rain was cleaned off, its absolute pinnacle of cleanliest and shininess was short lived.
