Curious if anyone knows if the 355 ZF is a 1, 1.5, or 2 way diff and what preload/percentage they are set at? thx J

Thanks Mitch.. I am curious more because I am building a road/comp S3 Esprit and trying to decide whether to go ATB or ZF diff on the Esprit. I like the feel of the ZF on the 355 but can get an ATB for a UN1 box out of UK for a good price. I have no experience with ATB on rear drive but hear that once you lift a wheel it goes into open mode and can upset the car?? I am torn.. spring for the ZF or consider the ATB? J
