I just got back last night from the detroit autoshow, that is one long drive. I went there to see several specific cars, but unfortunetaly the one that I really wanted to see the FXX was no long there. I was told that it is a clients car & that it was avaliable for a very short period of time which is understandable. All the other vehicle's on display were beautiful, including the display booth itself.
Marco - I've never been to the Detroit Autoshow although I hear it's an awesome time. Will anybody here be attending the Autoshow on the 15th for the Vaughan & Cato presentation?
I am not really sure. But I am very excited about the International Autoshow coming up next month here in T.O.
I take it from the smiling face that you are going. For those of you who don't know Michael Vaughn & Jeremy Cato are journalists who write for the Globe & Mail's Auto section (former Megawheels). They also have a half-hour TV show (Car Business I think is what it's called). They'll be giving a presentation on the 15th (press day I think ) about the Canadian automotive industry. Should be interesting!
Hehe, not sure if im going to that BUT.......I am looking forward to going to the more important part, where I can learn about all the technology, in order to strengthen my sales skills when challeneged with any car question. To rub elbows with top engineers who have designed the best of the best. Heh, yeah right screw that! Im talkin about the gala nite! Ahhh yes, Where fine wine and sushi flow for days and the women are dressed in heels that are miles long.... Yes, the nite before opening day.... How I remember my nite there is still a mystery.
I wonder if federal government representatives who handle the Auto sector at their offices could get access? Hmmmm
Highly Doubt it. The car that was at NAIAS is going to Florida for Cavlino Classic. The owner of the car is from New Jersay and it isnt Roger Penske. Anyone know who else in NJ would drop the dough for a FXX?
FXX left the Detroit Auto Show? That makes me sad. :-( I'm going this Sunday and that was pretty much the only Ferrari I wanted to see.
Sorry Bud! But there will be 10ish FXX's in North America. I'm sure you will see one somewhere at an event or something.
