    Hi everybody,

I am looking for the device to extract the codes from a euro spec early 355. Being a euro 2.7 it doesn't have the switch as in US versions.
Is anybody anywhere selling the switch ?
Failing that, does anybody have the specifications of the various bits so I could try a DIY job at making one ?

    many thanks

You are saying the ECU's don't have buttons to press and pull codes via a flashing MIL light?

yes exactly. The buttons are only on the US spec cars.
I understand that all is needed (except the buttons) is already there tough.
just need to add the buttons

All markets, all ECUs have the ALDL connection. That's where the SD tool plugs in. On the 2.7 355 and certain other models, a simple push button put the ECU in diagnostic mode. As Europe did not mandate OBD, there was no need to include the button.

I have a new ALDL harness with push button, if you really want one. Frankly, a simple momentary contact button and some wire will be far simpler for you.
