Ok, who wants to host the first watching party. Bueller, Bueller?
Formula1.com says it is 2:30pm Bahrain time on Sunday, March 10. We are 9 hours behind Bahrain so that means it's going to be 5:30am on Sunday?
i had met up with some of you guys during the Japanese GP last year. (at hooters... then someones house) i'd wouldnt mind hanging out again .... if its at a decent hour.
The race starts at 11:30pm on Saturday night. If ya'll want to we can go to Hooters and then watch at my house or any other ideas?
We have a winner!!! Nicola's house it is.. after Hooters. They still give away free beer as far as i know, if that sways anyone's vote. I dont live in that big house anymore, otherwise I'd continue to have them. Hell I dont even have a TV anymore. I'll watch it at midnight, or I think Nicola can record it, and we can do it Sunday. Its up to him.
11 March - Saturday -> Live qualifying 5 am local 12 March - Sunday -> Inside Grand Prix 1 am local 12 March - Sunday -> Race live 5 am local 12 March - Sunday -> Inside Grand Prix 11 am local 12 March - Sunday -> Race re-broadcast 11:30 am local Carol
yea, I seem to have read it wrong last night. We can watch it at 11:30am on Sunday and then Hooters or something else.
Do you know if there will be a re-broadcast of the "qualifying" on Sat? If yes, what time (Central Time)? Thanks.
Didn't show a re-broadcast of qualifying on Saturday. I'll be watching live qualifying and the race live on Speed as well as on the computer. I like to see what's happening when it happens! We've been watching the A1GP races and I hope that F1 this year is as good as those races. Carol
can you watch it live on your computer ? i dont mind paying and watching it online. i dont get speed tv.....frickkin comcast.
Watching "live" on the computer entails only numeric details - no "pictures". This information is quite good - there is commentary during the race only. We always have the computer up and tv - during commercials go to the computer. The computer does run a couple minutes faster than the tv broadcast - the race usually will have already started when it starts on Speed. Go to: www.formula1.com Same thing is applicable to ALMS races; NASCAR races - we've "watched" both from their respective websites. A1GP has two races remaining this season. Broadcast is on OLN. go to: www.A1GP.com March 12 -> 7 - 9 pm Laguna Seca (qualifying) March 13 -> 3 - 5 pm Laguna Seca (race - the cover the sprint race (rolling start) and feature race (standing start/1 pit stop) April 2 -> 3 - 5 pm China April 3 -> 5 - 7 pm China (I believe the times are est - check program sked) Carol
Thanks for the info. For those that are going to attend the F1 watching party please PM so I can know how many people are going to come and I can give you directions. It looks like my dad will cook pasta for us.
