    Greetings,

Our lunch events in the past have always been well received, including the latest with Luke from California. Brian R. has graciously volunteered to organize a monthly informal lunch beginning in February.

The lunches will be held on the first Wednesday of every month, and will move around the MetroMess so that everyone should eventually have one nearby. Brian will announce a location a week or so before the lunch, and naturally suggestions are welcome. Contact info

The dates for this year are below. I'm pretty sure I got them right, but it is almost 1 AM. If I made a mistake, please let me know :)

Thanks to Brian for volunteering. The DFW FCA is a volunteer organization, and can only be as strong as its members. We sincerely appreciate the efforts of all the volunteers. Between them, they have scheduled and will organize 36+ events this year for the DFW FCA chapter!

I've added the dates to the FCA calendar here at Fchat, and will update our chapter website soon.

I'm working at Luna & LBJ - how about a place on McArthur? There's Fratelli's (Italian!), and near 114 there's Taco Diner.

MacArthur & 635 is just fine w/ me. I live in that area. They have few family owned cozy Italian's in the area. I just can't recall names (2 of them are frequented by Cowboys players as I see them during lunch or dinner time) Wait, yeah, Bruno's is one of them. Now what was another one,,,
I fratelli is good, but parking is hectic during lunch hour there as they have few eatery in the same zone. People coming in & out in hurry (that's what they seem after lunch) so park your Ferrari away from the crowd!

Is there something out that way (Las Colinas) with a better parking situation? Ferrari Door Dings are Bad. I dont want to have to testify in court when I see the Fellow Ferrari owner kill the Suburban driving soccer Mom.

There's Humperdinks at the corner of 114 and O'Connor, they have ample parking. It would be a safer bet than anything on MacArthur between 161 and 635, but I'm sure they're crowded at lunch, just like everywhere else.

Brian, Bruno's & another Italian's parking is not bad at all. I've seen Diablo & 360 parked before.

Personally I think we should avoid crummed parking lot w/ other restaurants. There's just too many restaurants on MacArthur between 635 & 114! I know about 10 eatery just opened in the past 6 months.

Unfortunately, restaurant in Las Colinas really don't have good parking lot, exception on Cool River, Jinbeh, Hamperdinks, Benihana (they all have own parking) Jinbeh & Hamps are pretty bad during lunch as I often have lunch meeting there. Problem is that everyone in that area goes to lunch at the same time. Since they build more offices along 161, the situation changed quite bit.

If you can push out start time of lunch to 13:00, parking situation is drastically different.

This is a great event, I'll just be able to make the ones East of the Tollway. West of the Tollway in Addison isn't too bad for me. BJ's was still almost a 2 hour lunch for me though.
