Called Cool River. It will be pretty crowded with Christmas parties, but that is good for the catch & releasers. No rooms or reservations available, but I'll plan on being there 5pm to reserve spots, I would appreciate others arrive early if they can. Normally we don't need a headcount, but this time might be nice to only get the chairs we need. Cool River has valet and last time I went it is about your only choice. The valet Nazis block off the entire lot. I'll ask they keep a few spots together for the FIATS.

I would like to announce for Jennie that she has accepted an offer to be an Associate Professor at UT Southwestern. Even more reason to happy hour. I've always dreamed of sle nevermind.
Way to go Jennie! UTSW trains an amazing number of doctors. One of the 4 eye surgeon professors did my Lasik redo a few weeks ago, and now I see distance and up close. No more reading glasses for a while for me. Yippee!
