I'm opening another post about this, because some people that use the board can't seem to locate the other one.

We're going to have a casual drive this Sunday, January 15, starting at 9am. We'll meet at the Starbucks at the corner of the Tollway and Parker Rd. in Plano. The route I have mapped out is about 110 miles, with 50% highway, 50% backroads. We'll end back where we started in Plano. I expect to be home by 11:30.

If you'd like to join us, please do. We have 5 or 6 cars lined up already, but the more the merrier.

    How was the drive?

I couldn't participate, I need to find out if the brake failure light that lit up intermittently on my Austin trip yesterday is a sensor problem or the real thing. Seemed kind of irresponsible to pull it out of the garage without knowing for sure.

Drive was good, 6 Italians showed up and only one was red! There were 4 silvers ones, one white.

We found a great road East of Sherman that was a lot of fun and in good shape. Another road west of Van Alstyne was a lot of fun to drive, but had some pretty amazing dips in it, caused a few bottom scrapes. We did about 110 miles total, and we were done before noon.

Thanks all for showing up, it was a great time.

Great drive except for the nasty dips at speed!

She was afraid that someone would recognize who was behind those Foster Grants! Great drive Jim, a lot of fun. If we do another in the immediate future I will remember to run behind Nick so that he can ferret out the "BIG" dips.

Texas 69 from Sherman/Dennison back to Bells, then on to Bonham is pretty good.........beautiful country.

There's an ex-dancer from Dallas, working as a waitress at the Bonham Cafe...........;)

That was a nice thing to do!
