Hey all, I am a newbie on this forum. I just wanted to let you know that we (DFW F1 faithfuls) have a little group called the "DFW Grand Prix Gearheads" that meets up to watch the race. You might have heard the shout-out during the Canadian GP on Speed TV. We have tentative watch parties set up for the Chinese GP, Japanese GP and the finale at Brazil. We meet at a local rest./bar and watch the race on a giant TV. farmerdave replied to one of our thread on the Speed forums (http://insider.speedtv.com/viewforum.php?f=15) Looking forward to meeting yal! Welcome to Fchat, I'll be heading up to Indy also with many DFW Fchatters as well. Also thanks for setting up another place for watching parties, I'll try to make some if I can.

Awsome!! Let us know about your next F1 gathering. That is how I found out about F-chat also. And the rest is history.... Many of us F-chatters from DFW will be in Indy also. Look for me, I'll be the one wearing red.
Yea, I'll be in Indy as well. The funny thing is that I don't have a reservation for Sunday, so I will be spending Sunday evening looking for place to crash. Some of the guys from the DFW group will be going to St. Elmo's for dinner. I might go, if the let me in.... I dont have a reservation... again! I'll be in my red as usual... so will 25,000 others. Hoping for a wet race. I'll be in Stand H, Section 13, Row Q, Seat 14 with an airhorn.
I was hoping to get the Speed group and the F-chat groups together to have a huge F-1 Fest.. looks like it's gonna happen.. I'll be in Indy Saturday and Sunday, flying in early.. H 19, not sure of row or seat.. I'll be the one in BLUE. Todd

Are you guys familiar with Meetup.com? Someone should set up a DFW F1 Meetup group and then we can be part of it and schedule events with RSVP's etc. Linny
