On Sunday Jul 22 @ 6:30am for the first time in Texas, the DFW GRAND PRIX GEARHEADS will be hosting an early morning race, the EUROPEAN GRAND PRIX at THE WINGHOUSE in Addison, TX. The cars leave the grid at 7am. This will be the first time we try out a morning race, I hope you can make it.

The manager at the Winghouse asked me to give him a tentative count, so please let us know if you can make it by replying to this thread.

Its 10pm and I didn't hear anything back, so I'm watching from bed. Plus my drinking team is wasting their life away tonight, instead of tomorrow morning. I think it would have made a good "story". Live F1 watching and beer at 6:30am. Oh well.

Ok. so we didnt have beer for breakfast (since its Sunday. you can drink and go to work on a monday, but not drink and go home on a sunday. nice one lawmakers and the Baptists!). but a guy did have some in his car. so a couple of us did have "beer for breakfast".

On the bright side, the LIVE version of the race was super! We plan to meet up again in 2 weeks for the Hungarian GP. Also, the Speedtv crew decided to stop all shoutouts for the time being and maybe permanently.

I'll be bringing beer to the next GTG for those who want "beer for breakfast". Talked to the manager and he doesn't mind as long as "he doesn't see it" ;)

Sorry I didn't make it. The M3 developed a mis-fire yesterday coming back from my friends ranch. I was able to check it out today and the coil for cylinder 5 isn't firing so at least it'll be a simple fix tomorrow when I get a replacement coil.

    What food did they have?

I'll bring beer to the next one then.

Food was chili, burgers, only a few things. Coffee and soda. Beer was BYOB.

Hey scarlet racer, we might want to do the morning races at the flying pig. They serve breakfast.

These guys were hard core; beer, cigarettes and chili at 6:30 in the morning.

Pig doesn't normally open until 11 on Sunday, but a big enough crowd and the promise of purchasing stuff might make them open early. I'm sure no beer on Sunday morning, one of the last remaining Blue Laws

Just looked it up, 6:30 AM Central August 5. No replay of F1 that day.
