[DFW] Mattel Outlet Update

Those 1:43rds are cool, look very much like the ones Shell sold as "Classic" at US F1 events.....

 

I picked up an Elite 308 GTS today with my 50% off coupon! They have an Elite Enzo Jamiroquai model for $100 which was tempting, but I think I have enough Enzos.

 

I went back out there yesterday to try to find one of those 308's & maybe a 458. I guess they were in extremely short supply, the best thing I found was the Elite 250 LM #26 Team Georges Marquet Dumay/Gosselin in yellow, those 50% off coupons come in handy.

For anyone else that wants to venture out there, MTS will reopen on Jan 11h fully restocked after inventory.

Looks like you may have to go to eBay for that. I have never seen a 355 there.

 

Here's an MTS update for the new year. I went out there in anticipation of finding a Elite 308 or 458 but no such luck yet. Everything has been inventoried & organized & I was told to check back in a few weeks. Anyway, here's some updated photos of the 1:18 & 1:43 section of the store.

The orange 1:43 LP640 looks cool.

 

The 1:43 330p4 is nice to a bit steep for the price, those cars really need to be marked down.

 

Couldn't agree more. $15-$20 would be much better.

 

EVERYTHING goes on sale at some point... it is to your advantage to go the last week of every month. They always have coupons which could save a ton.

I stopped by yesterday. They had a few yellow 308's and a few Massa 2010 f1 cars for $90 and $80 respectfully. This week has the half off coupon, so you can use it!

 

Thanks for the call yesterday Kimson, I went out there this morning with a coupon & picked up the 308 ($47.00 w/ coupon) but passed on the F10 & here's my reasons why.

$80.00 price point, detail looked sloppy, & completely the wrong color. Way too bright of a red instead of being the correct color. (sorry about the iphone pic, it looks brighter in person) Mattel has done this before & it's really annoying but I don't see how this getting by Ferrari SpA, whatever happened to quality control?

The rest of the inventory is still the same, nothing else besides those two new items.

 

I went up there this afternoon & found some new 1:43's @ $6.99, I don't normally collect these but these were too good of a deal to pass up. Also all Hot Wheels items are 40% until Saturday. Nothing new for 1:18th's yet but hopeful those 458's will start showing up.

7 bucks for 1:43's. Nice.

 

With the discount that runs until Saturday they came out to $4.21 per model. I picked two extra 328's so if any one here wants them, PM me for details.

 

Just wanted to give an update that a majority of the older 1/18th & 1/43rd inventory has been shipped to various southern California stores, I was told the newer items will ship to the Fort Worth location but not sure on the exact date.
