This weekend I discovered a water leak in the basement closet where I've stored my album collection. They ALL got wet, and all of the sleeves are wet, most with a nice collection of mold. However, I checked a few of the records themselves and they all seem to be fine. They'll need to be cleaned, but don't seem to have any damage. Before I throw them all in the trash, I thought I'd check and see if anyone has a use for them. Mostly 70's-80's rock, with a little jazz and easy listening thrown in. Probably about 100 albums. Let me know if you're interested.

I'd be interested. Believe it or not, I have a turntable. No 8-tracks, but I still have a soft spot for vinyl. Let me know how to take them off your hands.

Sorry to hear your collection is ruined.

Hate to see these things happen to people's collection, but it does happen.
Generous of you to share what's left from your collection. Hope Rob will take good care.

I feel your pain Jim. My mother a couple years ago moved my collection of vinyl out the garage. She had them put buy a window where they melted in the sunlight. The Who, The Beatles, ZZ top, Van Halen, Muddy Waters, etc.. that can never be replaced.
