    With my E-500 lease ending, I test drove a variety of cars in the $55k and under range, and ended up with the Dodge Charger SRT8. During one of our monthly lunches, writerguy said he had tested one for several days and gave it a thumbs up, so I thought it was worth a closer look. I like the aggressive, somewhat retro look, and what could be wrong with 425hp and big Brembo brakes. I tried the E-350,CLK350, GS 430, IS 350, BMW 530, and came away bored by that group, so I went with my gut feeling. Wish I could have brought it out to Carson's saturday. Brian, let's pick out a fun / grudge night down at Ennis and get in front of that christmas tree again.

    Wow, that looks sharp. I am not a real fan of the Daytona paint schemes but THAT is a whole other animal....

    Yes Yoshi I will put it on the track at MSR. I admit I'm spending some time away from f/chat at chargerforums.com. There is a ton of aftermarket stuff people are doing. Carney of course wants me to supercharge it. Taking a straw poll. Should I lose the wing? I've had votes both ways, but I'm leaning to removal.

    Is the wing actually functional? Does it provide necessary downforce above 140 or so? If so, leave it. If not, pull it. Smoother is better.

    Remove the wing, it will give the car a cleaner look.

    A few weeks ago I rented a 330C with a Hemi. I couldn't get the s.e. grin off of my face, and my wife was getting a little unhappy with my stoplight antics though.

    Supercharged commuter car! That'll get you more attention for sure. Maybe you should think of modifying an exhaust for deeper sound, like Matt's. (although I don't know he's been modified there, but it has cool deep exhaust sound!)
