A little off topic but does anyone know of a good cobbler in or around North Dallas? I have a cople of nice pairs of shoes that are in need of new soles.

Check w/ Nordstrom. They repaired a shoe for me before. I only wore it twice in 5 months, and saw a sole peeling off. I knew I couldn't exchange them as time has passed since the purchase, but brought it anyway. They repaired it for free.

You may want to contact the maker of your shoes, and they may offer the repair service.

I know a place in LC who repairs shoes (SW side of MacArthur & Walnut), but don't know whether they are good or not. Shoes/boots waiting to be picked looked good though.

There's a place in Plano, off of Custer and 15th or Custer and Park. It's on the NW corner.

And for a REALLY good cobbler, I like blackberry! :)
