If you guys want a good meeting point I have a store right around the corner. Most of you guys may know it Baris Pizza. If you want to plan a meet thier let me know.

 

Small circle of us today. Jano, Tillman, & myself enjoyed the morning drinking overpriced brew-haha & exchanging various news. Btw, I'd like for someone to start up a Cars & Coffee meet kind of like they do in California, any thoughts getting other clubs involved?

 

I have been giving the cars & coffee thing some thought myself. Maybe start with once a month and expand it if its popular?

Any other suggestions? This is a pretty diverse gearhead crowd and some input would be great.

Someplace central is best, rather than far north east. Maybe in the Grapevine area?

 

Saturday or Sunday? Those who go to church early would probably prefer Saturday.

Saturday is a busy day for many people, but the California Cars and Coffee is 7:00-9:00 so everyone can be finished early.

Since it is very informal, people come and go as they please.

 

Also consider the 635/MacArthur area. Starbucks on both North and South sides, parking out the wazoo regardless of which corner you pick, and a Krispy Kreme to the North!

I posted on the other thread as well about the meets in Frisco. We have a starbucks next door to the pizza shop for any car lovers and the current cars showing up are great. We have been doing it for a little over a month now.

globalm3, thanks for your post the only time I had pizza for breakfast was during my college years. Although lunch or a dinner meet at your place is also an idea to be considered.
