I know there's some other Reverend Horton Heat fans here on Fchat. He's playing a free show tonight on the main stage at the Taste of Dallas festival in the West End. If you've never heard of the Rev, you can hear his stuff here:

The Taste of Dallas festival and the music are totally free, you just pay for food and drinks.

Robert Randolph & the Family Band are a great blues group as well.

The Reverend aelways puts on a great show and tonight was no different. BUT...

Wow. Robert Randolph and his band are incredible. I'm not just saying that, they are absolutely amazing. Check em out, http://www.robertrandolph.net/

I first saw them at If you ever have a chance to see them live, do it. You won't regret it.

BTW, the Taste of Dallas wasn't worth it, other than the live music acts. It was really really crowded.

I figured as much. I've seen RHH countless times but missing out on RR&TFB was most likely the event to witness, Like I said before I didn't feel up to the drive to Dallas, messing with parking, & the massive crowds.
