Ok...I know the 360 spider will be one of my cars. But, I also looked carefully at the 05 Murcie and 05 Gallardo. I liked the Murcie exterior, but not the interior. Actually, I prefer the Gallardo over the Murcie.

While doing my studies, I asked for comments on the Diablo 6.0 and really like it the best for my Lambo pick. I found two 01 Diablos and have provided the links here. The Titanium looks great to me, but the Orange with the light interior knocks my socks off and is my first choice! About the nicest Lambo I have seen. Like the 05 Murcie in Metis Red, but these Diablos look so much more exotic than the Murcie IMO.

Any comments on either or both of these two cars? On the orange one, isn't 15,000 miles for an 01 considered higher than average mileage? Would either have a major service due (if not already done) with the miles shown and being four years old? Any options/features that are a "must have" (other than what I could add later like Tubi, if needed)?

Thanks in advance for any and all comments.

    Orange all the way.

    - Silver is overprised and common. Hard to resell.

    - Orange is the HOT color. Everyone wants it.

    - 15k in miles with that price (pending perfect shape) is a good price. You wont lose any money buying the car, it's already got a lot of mileage depreciation in it. Is 15,000 miles high? Far from it. Diablos will outlast any American car on the road today.

    - Resale on Orange is highest of all Diablos (Less SE's), and you can sell it in a heartbeat.

    - If the major service hasnt been done on either of the cars, do it, and factor that in as part of your cost.

    - Be sure you get a lambo dealer to inspect the vehilce prior to committing to buying it, or make it a contingency for full sale.

Mike, I bought a 6.0 a couple of months ago and couldn't be happier with the car, it's simply awesome.

Although I agree with Ben in that orange is great for resale, I wouldn't necessarily say it will sell in a heartbeat bcz that car has been listed on Dupont for at least 6 months, maybe more.

Often cars listed in Dupont arent actually for sale by the time you see the ad. Did you speak with the owner to see if the car is still available? (Other reasons they may be in 6 months is poor history or service records, failed inspections, or just too high of a price)

You'll never get the orange car...it's owned by an angry little Vietnamese dude who's wife is forcing him to sell the car. He doesn't take viewing appointments, is impossible to talk to on the phone and basically, is not a nice person.

    Consider that car "unavailable."

Better check on that titanium one, I think it was sold recently.

If you're interested in a non-pearl yellow car, email me, I know of one that might be for sale soon. (3500 miles on it) [email protected]

Have you talked to the STeve Barney people? Aren't they close by? I got my 6.0 from MC I in St. Louis, no drama- very straight car- top dollar pricing, they worked with me a little, but the car was pristine, one of the nicest around. Rosso Vik/Snowcorn. The car was not listed on their site, or inventory, it was a customer's car that they knew he wanted to get out of; they also have the Lambo dealership in TX, so between them, they seem to get alot of cars. There are two on their site right now, a black one and a dark grey one, one with under a thousand miles. Please use my name, and ask for Randy if you call MC I.
Oh, yeah, at the time i bought mine, i was also able to get a black/black Murcie for similar money- liked the 6.0 much better.

I also bought a Diablo from Randy (McCall) at Motorcars Intl. If you buy from them, the car is BETTER than new, if you can understand that. The way they prepare a car is crazy. The 6.0 cars they have now are spottless!

Hate the Metallic Orange. If your an NBA player or Missy Elliot I'd say go for it. But, if your like me, the Flat Orange is the way to go. Not much difference between the two you say!? I’ve seen both together (Lambo of Beverly Hills) and strangely enough it's night and day. The metallic might be the flavor of the moment but the Flat orange will look just as good in 30 years as it does on a Mura.

I actually agree 100%. I had the pearl metallic orange on my Murci, and it looked great. But that color is more of a trend color, and the "hard orange" will look great in 10 years. Same with the Yellows. I just got the fly yellow on my 99SV, and it was sitting next to a pearl yellow, and the Hard color really rose to the occasion. Opinion only.

I also looked for about 6 months for a 6.0 and when it came down to it i liked the fly yellow much better than the pearl. Just looked unreal in person.

I do not regret getting my 6.0 instead of a murci/g whatever. We have a 575m and a CS in our stable and I still would rather be in the Diablo any day. And by the way purple is the pimp-est color of them all.
