Diablo front bumper design

While it maybe one of the first official pics, its a pic from a set of artists renderings - which maintained some aspects of the P132 prototype(s). Say "thank you" to Chrysler.

Chrysler MADE the Diablo. Without them, it would be hideous, dated auto by now.

 

Yeah, that Gandini is a slouch as a designer. Sheeesh! That's the man to thank.

 

Are there any cars built with that kind of front bumper? I think i`ve seen that kind of bumper on a Yellow car aswell.

 

Yes, I have a poster of one of the very early red cars with that front bumper. Weren't the launch cars at Monte Carlo back in 1990 3 red and 1 yellow? I'm guessing that all of those cars would have had the same bumper.

 

Very early Diablos had this bumper, and they also had matte black/dark gray mirrors

i like that bumper!

 

I wonder what vin # thoose cars have, a quick look at the ILR and there are no early cars with that kind of bumper. Matte black/dark gray mirrors are on cars up until #12047? But non of thoose cars dont have that kind of bumper. In my point of veiw the "strange bumper" cars gonna be collector cars in the future, suspected early vin and different style, more Gandini`s original style.
