I don't understand...I was just looking at it from a $ perspective. If you bring emotion, 'saving a car', 'resurection', etc. then the cost is not that relevant.

I was just trying to think in terms of what the cost outlay is. If $ is spread over time the impact is not the same as spending money up front but with the cost of parts increasing I don't see how spreading it out reduces the total amount of $ spent. Maybe the feel for it...

With regards to the overall value of the project, I was just comparing to this car for example (from another forum)...granted that car sold in mid 2014 and prices have artificially gone haywire since:

Amazing...market speculation in my opinion. Same reason that the Countach is now 5X value in 1 year - unsustainable in the long term.

For a better market reading of early Diablo I'd look at the yellow car which is relisted and bidding ends in the 90s every time. Of course the seller reserve is not met, but imo that's where the buyers are willing to go to.

    What do you guys think

This whole title thing between clean, rebuilt and salvage etc and having different standards in every state seems to be a mind bender.
That and is seems some states have a "washing machine" in there somewhere ?
