I OWN A 92 DIABLO. When I first start it, it starts and runs great. However, after five to ten minutes, it starts to miss, the RPMs drop,it smells rich of gas and eventually it will simply stall. I've checked the air intakes and filters and there are no problems or issues. Any thoughts?

Could be lots of things. My first guess is a stuck-open fuel injector. Check out the Lamboweb repair site for detailed directions to check each injector.

Using a mechanics stethoscope, listen at each injector to give a click-click-click sound while idling. Takes about 30 seconds to check, and you'll know for certain where to look next.

A few things I would check.

    Check your distributor cap.

    Check your wires

Check your plug-This can tell you alot depending on the condition of the plug

If you want to get real techy...you may want to check voltage output on the o2 senors. I bet you it's ignition related. I went through this and managed to resolve my issues on my 92.

    Does your car backfire?

May also want to check air intake temp sensor and water sensor. These items can lead to a rich condition that could be fouling out your plugs.

    Few other questions...

Have you actually driven the car? How did it run before this event?

If you haven't driven your car on the road before, may want to check the wires to make sure they are on the right cylinder. You can actually drive the lambo with the wires crossed in some situation causing a misfire situation.
