I shall. I am having some fun here, while promoting a very important subject to me. Improved driver safety in cars designed to exceed 200 mph. People here, presumably, drive these cars at high speeds, and I think we should all be on the same page about safer tubs in our high speed cars. I am allowed to express my opinion about aluminum chassis, backed with some real life photos. You can disagree if you want, and if you can't have a little fun with it, then leave. I think the new Lambo is going in the right direction with its carbon fiber tub in the LP700.
This is quickly becoming a lame thread, I wish everyone would get back to the OP or take the issue of Aluminum vs. Carbon Fiber elsewhere. Mods?
I agree... a much more intersting thread when we were all agreeing that the GT is a much finer looking automobile than the gaudy and outdated look of the Diablo. Is there even anyone out there who would select the old Lambo over such a fine example of modern engineering and performance as the GT? What was the point of this thread in the first place?
You and your GT hardons come into the LAMBO section and start bad mouthing the 15 year older Diablo and what do you expect? By definition, this section is populated by LAMBO fans, except for the sht hds that come here to start problems. Nothing good happens when some LA wanker comes to Boston and starts spouting how the 2005 Lakers are so much better than the 1991 Celtics....blah blah blah.....never turns out good. Every thread started and exacerbated by 'out of towners' talking sht ends up this way. Mods, please move this entire thread to the General Automotive Section, where it belongs.
Easy to see the point of the thread in the first place, just go back to the original question started by William H. And yes, the GT is a great car, but the Diablo is also, especially in 6.0 form. The thread belongs here, in this section, as it is about Lamborghini. As for how the thread has degenerated, you have consistently been the most aggressive poster on this thread, and some of your remarks and innuendo have been insulting to those at whom it was directed! If a mod is looking in, maybe they could lock this thread, and the original poster, William H, who is a respected member here, would then have the opportunity of reposting his original question if he so wishes, and hopefully receive replies which stay on topic, in a polite manner.
LOL, the threadkiller himself turns policeman. That's just classic. I for one, am sorry I ever engaged him. My apologies to the OP.
Threadkiller? If you go back and review my posts, I was politely expressing some opinions backed by examples. Then, you and nthfinity started the aggressiveness and I simply responded and defended myself, and there it went..... If you don't like somebody's opinion, why attack? Offensive posts by nthfinity after I clearly stated my writings were simply my opinions! ......u have no idea what your talking about ......It's proven your 'facts' are bogus ......because don't actually know what ... talking about ......you are not qualified... ......you have no idea what you are talking about ......just how old is this fellow? ......How old are you? ......What is your expertise or skill in? ......you are a self professed chassis engineer .. and drink beer from a can? ......BS is off the scale here . funnier . you are claiming MIT. And DoctorV8 chimes in: .....Have you heard of the scientific method? .....is delusional .....Sleep well tonight, buddy. Do you know what a "p-value" is? .....you in your infinite wisdom .....specious reasoning, Dad. .....won't be surfacing . again. Hopefully he learned something..... .....is the definition of paranoia .....lack of class .. .Seriously.....did you not read .....a dead horse .....battles with the unarmed
Thanks for the kind words and I will continue to have a very nice life. Are you denying the above offensive words and phrases were made by you? In fact, they came directly from your posts.
Please try and keep the threads as civil as possible. I would hate to give somebody a vacation, on top of a vacation
