    Hello Gents,

I need your technical help advice.
We, my garage master and I, have worked yesterday 10 hours on my `94 Diablo VT and couldn`t solve the problems.

    1. Ignition Drop Outs at 5.500 rpms
    Check engine is burning.
We checked the error indicator with the key check.
Check Engine flashes 6 times – on the list error number: 6
“Engine speed & timing sensor signal wrong sequence”
We changed both ignition coils – still the same problem.
    Reinstalled the old ones.
Well we opened the speed and timing box and the box right beside …. and saw a little difference in the timing set up – the black pin was between the upper and the lower cream contacts from the left and right timing indicator wire.
My master fixed it exactly to the upper pin from the indicator….1 cylinder
was in upper position on the right box. After all….
Started engine and it run perfect, did a testdrive with no problem. We pushed the car 4 times up to 7.500 rpms without any problems – just perfect.
But when I drove home, back on the Autobahn it happened again on the first time I went over 5.500 rpms. Ignition Drop Outs and Engine Error.
Again and again each time drop outs and check engine error flashes.
No, we didn`t change the 2 timing & speed wires cause they looked good and we just set up the timing & speed sensor position.
    What else could it be????
    Andy ideas, thoughts, help?

    2. Control panel for electronic shock absorbers - Manuell / Automatic ERROR
Malfunction Flashes always error after I start driving.
(Just starting the engine and let it run without driving its o.k. and no red flash)
The manuel function is still working on all 4 positions – but flashes error.
We checked the error indicator (box on the right side under the dashboard)
Left switch push and ON. Pushed the Auto twice and it indicates 4 x flash: rear, right shock absorber.
The shock absorber works perfect and we checked the electric connections
    and wires –looks good.
    Still the same problem……
Andy ideas, someone with the same problems?

    Any help is highly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

    Wolfgang

    Hi Mick,

thanks a lot for your reply and the link to this very helpful site (didn`t knew about this fantastic web-site)

Sorry for my wrong explanation - no, I don`t know if the shock absorber works. My master mechanic proofed and toled me that everything is fine with the KONI. I dont know how he proofed it or know about.
We will go for Second Test Level and Third Test Level tomorrow -once again, thanks for the link great description and even understandable to me.

    Thanks
    Wolfgang

P.S. any ideas about problem 1 "Engine speed and timing sensor signal wrong sequence"?
